At a glance
QR Studio does not operate a server that receives your links or QR codes. The extension uses the current tab address only to provide the QR generation feature, processes QR codes locally in your browser, and does not store your links after the popup is closed.
Information the extension accesses
When you open the extension popup, Chrome’s activeTab permission allows QR Studio to read the address of the active tab. The address is placed in the link field so you can generate a QR code for that page. If you use Bulk, the extension processes the links you enter. It also reads the foreground and background colors you select while the popup is open.
How information is used
The active tab address and any links you enter are used only to generate the QR codes you request. QR generation, format conversion, and ZIP creation happen locally in your browser. The extension does not send these links or generated QR codes to Carkci And Co or to a QR-generation service.
Storage, sharing, and downloads
QR Studio does not use analytics, advertising trackers, cookies, or an account system. It does not retain the page address, pasted links, color choices, or QR images after the popup is closed. When you choose Download, the extension uses Chrome’s downloads feature to save the file to the location managed by your browser. Bulk downloads are packaged locally into a ZIP file.
Third-party services
The extension includes an optional donation link to Buy Me a Coffee. If you choose to open it, you leave QR Studio and interact with that third-party service. Its own privacy policy and terms apply there. QR Studio does not send your links to that service.
Your choices and permissions
You choose whether to use the current tab address, enter links manually, or download the generated files. The extension requests activeTab to read the current page address after you open its popup, and downloads to save files when you request an export. You can remove the extension at any time from Chrome.
Policy changes
If the extension’s information practices change, this page will be updated to describe them. The revision date at the top will also change.

The use of information received from Chrome APIs adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
